What Does Personal Goal Mean?
A documented process of goal-setting, and systematic planning, action and reflection in pursuit of the goal.
What You Need To Do:
Set, plan, pursue and reflect on the process of pursuing a personally meaningful goal that stretches your comfort zone.
Will My Reflection Be Approved?
A student uses a process that involves four stages:

Setting a personally meaningful goal outside of his/her comfort zone (or something that would be a stretch to accomplish)

Planning

Taking action to work towards achieving the goal

Reflecting on the process.

Driving to Varsity
Listen to Alinda's interview as she discusses her Personal Goal of improving her golf drive to 200 yards to in order to qualify for the Falcons Varsity Golf Team. She shares the obstacles and challenges she encountered during her intensive practice schedule, which involved two to three sessions a week. Alinda explains the systematic plan she developed to correct her form, using analysis machines and strength training exercises to achieve her distance target.
